aaronpk i'm pretty happy with the intros and demos this time, which was a little more work than just using zoom, but worth it i think

aaronpk recording the screens for intros/demos using zoom worked very well and was easier than other methods

[Rose] Plus I’ll bring my Logitech Brio (4k) webcam or a camera and the voice recorder for intros/demos

GWG I tried a Go Pro like knockoff, but the audio is horrible

aaronpk audio from any camera is going to be horrible. the mic needs to be close up to the person speaking

aaronpk that's the reason i brought the voice memo recorder. even just setting it on the table made way more useful audio

[Rose] The trick is to use the camera audio just to sync up the other audio

aaronpk if it would be helpful i can upload a clip that compares the audio from the three different sources i have from the brighton recordings

[Rose] The microphones are too far away from the subject

sknebel yeah, recording limit is worth trying (although 30 mins is a common one in higher-quality cameras, due to customs reasons)

[Rose] You can also use an iPhone or similar to do the video of the people at the event, as you’re recording video rather than using Zoom it won’t have the landscape issue…
