tommorris I'm not a big fan of RDBMSes (the inner RDFer rebels: the problem with relational databases is they kind of suck at representing relations) but Postgres is the best you can get without spending any money. and even lined up against commercial databases like MS-SQL and Oracle, it rocks hard.
