#schmartyFirst, my process involves writing a very detailed script which I read word-for-word. I sound much clearer when I don't have to think of what to say next.
#schmartySecond, I break the script down into several sections, so that I only have to record for a couple of minutes at a time. Within that section I can make mistakes, clear my throat, start over, etc. and still be able to edit it quickly.
#schmartyThird, I constantly remind myself to speak slowly. I naturally talk very quickly and in early episodes I spoke quickly to fit in more information. I think the podcast is better when I speak more slowly and more carefully choose what to include.
#sketchessYeah I noticed the changes in your voice. I like both.
#sketchessThey are both good. They have their own character.
#schmartyHaha, right! I also re-use several clips from week to week. One or two are older and I keep meaning to re-record slower and clearer versions. :}
#schmartyI am off to eat some lunch and record some other podcasts. Have a great day, sketchess!
#sketchessThe podcast the week before was really soft at first. It made me wonder, if you might try to speak to the ladies especially. Enjoy.
#schmartyHaha, I will have to think on that feedback. I don't have a clear process for how I settled on the particular voice I use for the podcast. It feels to me like a mix of US National Public Radio news hosts. :}
