aaronpk I feel like that's a good thing to outsource to existing things like Slack or those iOS notification apps, since it's all ephemeral anyway and they aren't storing actual data. Those APIs and ways of doing notifications change so often that any investment I put into owning the whole stack will likely be irrelevant in another couple years.
