chrisaldrich aaronpk If rolling one's own RSS feed for microcast.club, where is it expecting the album artwork to appear? ie within what type of tag? I'm not seeing artwork explicitly written into the feeds for some others to use as examples.

aaronpk I forget the tag name, but the others all have it. Basically if it shows up in iTunes it should show up there

aaronpk my goal is to recognize feeds without anyone doing anything special for microcast.club, so i basically want it to recognize feeds that are recognized by the major podcast directories

aaronpk i didn't do a lot of research on what is the minimum viable podcast feed tho, so happy to take suggestions

chrisaldrich i thought you may have gone with an h-feed possibly or maybe a simple rss/atom, but I suspect it's easier to find things that are iTunes compatible instead.

chrisaldrich don't do anything special on my part, let me see what I can do.

aaronpk Yeah I was considering supporting h-feed too but then I realized the amount of debugging and additional UI it would take to support that wasn't worth it

aaronpk I figured making it recognize existing podcast feeds was the easiest for everyone. Fewer options and edge cases that way.
