#[Tobias_LjungstrHello Indie web. This seems like a really cool direction for the Internet in general. I’m going to try to link up my website and see how that goes. I’ll probably be around with lots of questions.

#ZegnatWe’ll probably be around to at least try and answer lots of questions :D Welcome Tobias!
#LoqiThe IndieWeb is a community of individual personal websites, connected by simple standards, based on the principles of owning your domain, using it as your primary identity, to publish on your own site (optionally syndicate elsewhere), and own your data https://indieweb.org/IndieWeb
#GWGprtksxna, testin: I always had the problem that I don't know how to find multiple language versions of the same page. not exactly related, but I know there are tools for that I've never explored.
#GWGExample: I read in English. So if you had a site that used both Malyalam and English, for example, I'd want to automatically find the English version.
#prtksxnaRight, there are heuristics to detect the browser lang and take you to the right place. But on places like wikipedia, interface and content language settings might be different (I guess that could be on a blog too) and so that makes it a bit trickier.
#testinfor self hosted sites pluggins are available.
#testinor we can use multisite feature of wp. one site for one language another site for another language.
#GWGI wonder if anyone documented this in the wiki somewhere
#prtksxnaGWG: I personally don't like the replication of content like that, from a design perspective. Would like to think more about it.
#[jgmac1106]or just write in your language, let folks who are interested figure out how to translate, onus shouldn't be on you to provide an English version
#GWGprtksxna: Probably a dev issue, but I'm curious if any of the people who I know have talked about this in the past, could comment.
#LoqiGet started on the indieweb by connecting with the indiewebcamp community, getting a personal domain, a place for your content, and setting up your home page and other indieweb essentials https://indieweb.org/Getting_Started
