[Ramiro_Ruiz]True, reply would be for them so I think I will probably better look at their social profiles or email to reply them if they’re open to. I do think some may be helpful for others so I guess that would be a post and mention theirs too. 🤔
KartikPrabhu[Ramiro_Ruiz]: in the past I have replied to posts on sites which don't have webmention but have a comment system (like Wordpress sites). I copy paste the reply into their comment system. On my site, I use reply-to and also add a syndicated-to to the copy on their comment section
[fluffy]hmm, so, downside to my bridgy setup is it can’t seem to distinguish the case where a post is POSSEd and where I posted a link into a discussion, which leads to occasional burps like the flood of notifications at https://beesbuzz.biz/blog/1286-The-commoditization-of-free-time
[snarfed]moderation in receivers (with or without nice UX) mean you can always remove unwanted backfeed, but it's harder to go get some you do want if bridgy never sent it. so i err on sending more

[jgmac1106]that happens to me on micro.blog sometimes, if I add a feed from Mastodon I reply and forget the person will never receieve the reply unless I log into Mastodon and poy/paste...I never do that.

gRegorLoveSomething I've been trying to do more is set up forwarding emails on my domain. It ends up in my gmail account, but it makes those addresses more portable if I wanted to forward them somewhere else

[arush]Does anyone know if Homebrew Website Club is going to be streaming anywhere this week? I'm still struggling with getting Ditchbook working on Windows but don't want to bug [cleverdevil] out of the blue/at an inconvenient time.
[schmarty][arush]: regarding [cleverdevil] - i think homebrew website club san francisco is his local meetup. i don't believe that they typically stream their meetings, and am not sure when he was last in attendance there.
[schmarty]hopefully he can find some time to help you out, anyway! if i remember correctly, he recently was in the indieweb-dev channel talking about difficulties with ditchbook related to facebook changing their data dump format.
