#Loqilink in bio is a common expression on silos like Instagram which disallow linking from posts, directing viewers to the respective social media profile which usually allows at least one link, increasingly used to link to a link-in-bio service providing a flat list of links at a short vanity path https://indieweb.org/link_in_bio

#frittroHi, I am installing #yunohost in 2022, with a lot of selfhosted apps including Wordpress, NextCloud, etc. I'm interested in joining the IndieWeb community.
#frittro@GWG, I guess I'm still trying to understand the nature of IndieWebCamp. I see a login link on the https://indieweb.org/ page. Is that just for maintainers of the site, or is that for regular Joe's like me? I can't see a register link, so I assume it is the former, not the latter, right?
#gRegorindieweb.org is a wiki that anyone in the community can edit. There isn't registration, but you can sign in with your domain.
#LoqiWeb sign-in is signing in to websites using your personal web address (without having to use your e-mail address) https://indieweb.org/Web_sign-in
#frittroAh, that makes sense, thanks @gRegor. I have had an initial play with #yunohost during 2021, and now have taken down that site to begin again in earnest in 2022. I have a registered domain name, for for now there is no site behind it, until I rebuild it in a few days time.
#frittroI plan to selfhost at home on a Raspberry Pi 4B SBC.

#gRegorCool. We have a couple channels here, listed on indieweb.org/discuss. More dev type type in #indieweb-dev

#Zegnatpetermolnar: I would approach that as an audience question. Do you think the new silos home audience is likely to check your site out for more content or not?
