j12taaronpk: I think there are different use cases. One is community for sure, but the "my general news feed from my friends and what I care about" is another and even if FB becomes TikTok2, that won't go away. People just won't get it from FB any more.
[tantek]"mutant TV" doesn't sound sustainable IMO. If FB/IG drop any chance of seeing your friends's posts, people will eventually tire and move on, or treat it like Netflix and that has a very different usage model and stats
