[tantek] aciccarello, not that I know of. I have noticed that Mastodon doesn’t seem to do any auto-linking (of anything, URLs, @-@s, hashtags)

[snarfed] BF federates content as HTML, and Mastodon preserves links in that HTML. (But nothing else)

[tantek] I get how that makes sense from an IndieWeb perspective, like when the post is presented on your own site, however is that really what someone is expecting when they see it hosted on a Mastodon site?
