rvalue, gxt__, bterry, shadowkyogre, mikeputnam, geoffo and cambridgeport90 joined the channel
#cambridgeport90Did I miss something, or are other channels outside of the MB timeline ignored in RSS readers when MB is used as the Micropub reader? I added some feeds to Aperture (not self-hosted yet, though I want to), and then logged itno both Together and Monocle with my site, which runs on MB for the moment until I get my server back up. I can't see any of the channels I added in the reader, only the MB timelines.
#[campegg]capjamesg I've seen "+1" used for agreement before, "++" not so much. Having said that, I had no problem working out what you meant from context
#capjamesgI have found myself using more semicolons recently to separate out thoughts, then fixing the sentence structure as needed; makes it easier to type.
#capjamesgThe semi-colon is never far away; a full stop then capitalization involves more friction.
#[campegg]Yeah, I get the karma thing (which is a carry over from IRC) and I think in this context with this audience it works. I don't know that I could use "++" at work, for example, and expect people there to know what I mean… "+1" is more common there.
