[campegg] [snarfed] [Murray] I do agree with the premise here; my assertion is more based on the idea that a person’s perception is their reality, and I can certainly understand why someone would be upset at seeing something they thought was going to one place (even if that “place” is a federated social instance) showing up someplace else.
