[tantek] Maybe borderline #indieweb-dev, however the use-case feels worth mentioning here first: I am wondering if "embeds" have other interesting/useful use-cases beyond dropping in an embed like a quote inside an otherwise longer article/note

[tantek] E.g. Iā€™m wondering if "embedding" someone's reply to one of my notes at the end of the note would be sufficient to show it as a "comment", and if not, what would be missing or what would need changing?

After browsing the site (and not finding the link to the FAQ (I'm sure it's there, I just apparently can't find it)) I have all of my questions distilled down to a single yes/no question which will probably answer or forstall any further questions. Here goes: does Indieweb provide web hosting?

[morganm] I learned of this group a year ago or so, and Ive really enjoyed many aspects of it. I feel a definite kindred spirit feeling about basically not giving up our independence on the web
