[Murray]Also, it's subtle, but in a few of the linked articles, a justification for the move falls under these lines (to quote): "We Design for More Humans than Just Users." Sure, yes, and perhaps this is overly paranoid, but that just reeks of "corporate needs are equal to user needs" to me.
