hydralisk98Greetings, I am and I virtually participate the Homebrew Website Club Americas latest event in a hour from now. I am a autistic transfeminine Canadian with plenty of special interests and worldbuilding historical research topics at hand.
hydralisk98I got a Tumblr blog I look forth to migrate properly into the indieweb through a couple guides including https://landchad.net ’s, got little experience but much explorations into IT through experimentation and classes I attended elsewhere.

pfychI could probably fix the issue by getting rid of the max-width on the container & applying it to the article element instead but I feel like the site loses a lot of its style when I do that :/
pfychI probably should do a redesign since the animation is on background-position which isnt accelerated. I got better performance using transform but that required JS whereas right now its 100% css
Lars-Christian@pfych yes. But I had to disable smooth scrolling on internal document navigation on my own site because it gave me motion sickness, so I'm probably a special case.
pfychI think I'm going to mood board out sites I like and try go for a full redo. It's hard because I want to keep it "professional" while also being something fun. Maybe I split out my professional stuff onto <legal-name>.com or whatever and just go full silly on my main site?
doesnmcreated website for myself which provides all emojis in one place: https://doesnm.cc/emojis.html. Good for copying/sending in IRC or other places 😋
[tantek]I have removed Twitter from my home page / rel=me. First time in perhaps 15 years. No need for folks to go from my personal site to Twitter. Still need to figure out a strategy for past POSSE links.
GuestZerospeaking of that, I'd like to get the verification badge on my mastodon profile; but it seems i'm doing something wrong with the rel=me -- where does it need to go?
[dave]In mastodon the links in your profile’s link section are automatically rel=me IIRC. On your site you just need to reciprocate to your mastodon profile URL.
[dave]I don’t know if auto linked sites in the bio section get rel-me or not but the extra fields definitely do. The verification tab could use clarification on that point.
