# [morgan] Hey I just wanted to share a little excitement about something thats related to my personal website. In my head its almost like a quasi martial arts themed story, about being taught a lesson by a martial arts master except about websites.
# [morgan] I have been selected for a contribution for the Web Performance Calendar, basically telling a story about this one time that a Web Standards Lead for a major browser (not a local figure here, another browser!) pointed out that some CSS animations were thrashing on the main thread of my website in the performance tab and could be more performance focused. I went in there and was able to fix 1/2 of my animations to use a highly optimized feature
