[social]It seems that I am writing. I’m wanting to get one that modification to search done in the lab to try out, before moving it into my main site’s blog.
[Michael_Kupiet]Well, I just this moment discovered that on touchscreens, scrollable elements within elements that my draggable elements make draggable will cause the entire element to drag rather than the child element scrolling when you try to scroll in with your finger. So I suppose I will be fixing that.
[morgan]I dont think it will win any awards lol but I am writing a blog post about my experience of playing Pokemon Leaf edition on Switch, and my significant other is playing Pokemon Fire (in Español) and we are going to soon battle and trade pokemon. Some of the post is about thoughts about retro gaming. Also trying to document some old memories of being an early player of Pokemon on gameboy.

BlogRollyits a giant blogroll: https://www.blogrolly.com/, let me know your thoughts.. is it any good is there any point to it etc I would really appreciate it, hope thats okay x
[morgan]@BlogRolly welcome, I will say that I spent 5 minutes analyzing your website, and basically it seems to be responsibly made and relatively transparent. I liked seeing your founders blog posts describing the process of making it over a sustained period of time. It makes me think "There is a real human behind this website, and they care a little at least".
[morgan]Having said that, its quite heavy on explaining the principles of it, and the qualities of the whole project might be a subject of some discussion or debate, but basically I did a check to see if there was anything worth complaining about and didnt find anything yet being honest 🙂. Your cookie banner notice seems about as good and minimalist as any cookie banner Ive seen so a compliment there
BlogRollyThanks Morgan, really appreciate you taking the time, feels a relief that its not immediately off putting haha, when you say qualities of the whole project are you talking the overall ux or the concept itself?
[morgan]Yeah just like, it might take me a few more minutes than 5 to decide whether its something Id submit my blog for. And some people here might have some more questions about it kind of . I give your site a lot of credit for being relatively thorough in explaining what its about, and even having terms of use and footer material to aid such a decision.
[morgan]In a world where there is a lot of grift, your website doesnt seem like a grift as far as I can tell. I dont know about the side-business model sort of aspects of it, or whether it will be popular, but you seem to be a good natured webmaster
BlogRollyokayyy sorry I'm putting my market research hat on lol,... for you personally what would you want to see within a few minutes that makes you want to submit your blog??
BlogRollyits not a side business for me its literally become my whole life, I jumped all in its been almost a year and i managed to go live last month so I'm excited to see things growing but this directory part is the core of the model, but i want to bring new life to indie blogging sooooo badddlllyyyyyyy omfgggggg
[morgan]My short answer is Id be looking to hear from someone who submitted their blog and had a good experience with it. Kind of looking for more testimonials. Maybe some quotes from people who are on there? I admire your passion and work so far! Hope this helps 🙂
BlogRollyand i literally dream of all the things this platform can be if people really get what we could create together, influencer marketing is on the up up and bloggers should NOT be left behind!
[morgan]One more tip- If you wanted to consider a possible design change, specifically I would say some quotes or testimonials from identifiable humans on the front page is what Id look for. Thats a pretty common marketing strategy. Maybe consider if its possible to use portaits of people or groups of bloggers.
[morgan]@BlogRolly, we should probably take it to the Dev channel in #indieweb-dev, but I noticed a few accessibility related quick wins for your website also. I think its good stuff to chew on if your actively developing
BlogRollyOMGGG I love your world, this is what I mean!! the internet is so big and you can literally enter peoples worlds or atleast what they want to share, and blogs can be a wholesome calm and safer alternate to social media, like your article 'unbundling my phone taking photos with my eyes funny title, personally i have 2 phones 1 without a sim card but is linked to my sims whatapp so if i really need to make a call i can borrow wifi somewhere but
