[Paul_Lieberman]I published a site.standard.publication record and one site.standard.document record. Will the later be visible on leaflet.pub or http://pckt.blog?
ulhar4409i wouldn't know enough to say how to make sure it's working right though :P

[Paul_Lieberman]No it does not show up on https://mochott.site/standard-site . I will examine my post to see if I got something wrong. It was also dated in the past (the actual date I created the blog post). I will try again with a 'now' createAt and see if that helps.
[tantek]I just returned from a ~10 day break from Instagram, and checked to see if one of my use-cases (DMs from people I don't have other contact info for) was in use at all, and I can happily say the answer is no. 4 messages from contacts (1 was a thank you reply, 3 were sharing IG posts), 2 messages from account "channels" (1 of which I also get via an email list, and the other was non-essential so I left that channel).

[Michael_Kupiet]The no javascript thing has been on my mind lately. I like the idea, but my site is so dependent on it. I almost wonder if I should have a lightweight secondary theme to direct people to if they want to use it without js.

[tantek]sympathetically it is hard problem to disentangle yourself from once you've gone down a path of tools, services etc. that have such dependencies
[Michael_Kupiet]Fortunately for me the use of javascript, though I use a lot of it, is fairly well segmented: it's in plugins that are there for nice effects but not strictly necessary; or, the big ones, my navigation menus and my hero background image. So at least it's in distinct functional areas I can replace as a whole, not woven throughout absolutely everything.
[morgan]@bearina Wooo! Good luck for the positive adjustments and bumps you may experience along the way. Changing the app habits is a brain engineering project sometimes 😄
bearina.Thank you @morgan! I stopped using TikTok months ago and my brain is a lot less fried! Today I decided it’s time to leave it all behind and make coming back less interesting. I’m reducing Instagram as well and my brain definitely also profits from not being looped into algorithms that much ☺️
