#
[capjamesg] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_subscriber_line
#
[capjamesg] It was used early on for providing internet access.
#
[capjamesg] It is the first time I have seen DSL mentioned on a 88x31 button.

[rose] A random trend I've observed, and sort of wondering what others think:
#
[rose] • But... Why do all these sites look the same? I thought it was cos of AI, but so many of the Astro templates look similar...
#
[rose] • I see in some web dev groups, a lot of people are getting AI to make sites in Astro. For sustainability, tbh, this is probably a net gain all round, despite the AI use... provided the resultant assets are also optimised...
#
[rose] I was exploring other SSGs but tbh sort of happy with Hugo from my initial experiments.
#
Loqi friendly reminder [rose], would you mind moving this more technical conversation (SSGs, templates) to #indieweb-dev? thanks!
#
[rose] Oh, okay, thought it may be general enough for this channel.... 😄

[tantek] [Rose] I mean you did start with "...in some web *dev* groups..." [emphasis added]
#
[rose] 😄 fair enough......! I was thinking of The Admin Bar on Facebook, though, and "dev" is sometimes a bit of a generous term there.

Zegnat This is a fun way to link to a bunch of media you like, a media shelf (as opposed to a book shelf, I guess?): https://dmschulman.com/shelf/
