# Dia collected my thoughts and feelings as to why i think all of this matters. its trying to convince an audience that doesnt exist here: you lot already know all of this. but it felt like a good place to start https://diaduck.xyz/blog/whyweb

# [aciccarello] It's been a few years now but I wrote this article describing part of my journey to posting on my own site https://www.ciccarello.me/blog/2023/10/23/rethinking-social-media/

gRegor If anyone doing #Blaugust wants some ideas, I was reminded of this 31-day music prompt thing from way back: https://gregorlove.com/2011/07/all-you-heart-stealers/ (which yes, I am still completing, haha)

# Loqi Blaugust is an annual community-led blogging challenge, labeled a “festival of blogging”, to post 31 times during the month of August (optionally with hashtag #blaugust) since 2014, most recently described in “Blaugust 2026 is Coming!”, with awards & badges you can earn by participating https://indieweb.org/Blaugust

# Loqi A challenge on the indieweb can either mean a blogging challenge, a list of questions to answer or a topic to write about in a post, sometimes tagged/invited by others to do so, or an ongoing event-like post which invites people to post achievements towards a goal for a specific time period, like exercise or posting photos at some frequency (daily), also supported by silos like Strava and micro.blog https://indieweb.org/challenge
# diaduck brilliant. thank you guys!
