# ruecharli i rly want to make (and actually finish) my own site but i rly struggle w motivation and ideas....... im using github pages to make static sites with html/css but its a lot harder than i thought... ive half finished one (jekyll blog site from scratch, ish) and idk quarter finished another (fully from scratch with a functional chat) and have given up on both. i think im fine with basic html/css but working with multiple pages is rly

A few friends started a Matrix server which was nice, and one of the bigger communities I was in (https://32bit.cafe) has a web forum so I’m still able to keep in touch there. Admittedly I miss some Discord spaces but I think the transition was mostly okay.
