morganwebdev https://www.morganwebdev.org/posts/contra-uses/ I dont know what really inspired me to make a post about privacy but Ive been online a lot the last 35 years and this is how I kinda think about the topic after all that time in kind of simple language. Happy mid-week

[tantek] [snarfed]++ great posts. Some very good tips in there. Others, lots of work, and certainly interesting intellectual challenges. Definitely some aspirational stuff too.

dovahkihn Hello everyone, I am Zach. I’m building Recycled Respawn, an independent games/culture site, and learning the web side as I go. Astro, GitHub, Netlify, DNS, all of that. I’m also using Obsidian for writing and notes. Mostly here to learn from people and offer any insight or knowledge I can. Hello!

[trovster] Wow. Checking my links and "It’s not legacy code — it’s PHP" by vimeo engineering, posted on Medium, is gone, with 410 error and "This post is under investigation or was found in violation of the Medium Rules."… if only they used their own website…

extralongdivision Hello IndieWeb 👋🏿. Stumbled on this community and I like (and I mean REALLY like) the values here. I am not a web dev, but I'm working on backlinking my social profiles to my site. (The rules said its ok to share https://extralongdivision.com) Maybe eventually IndieAuth. Will be asking a lot of questions once I've read through more here.

#
Loqi 💬 Join #indieweb discussions via Discord, Slack, web chat, or IRC, (they are all bridged!) with focused channels for developers, events, meta topics, and WordPress — please keep chats brief and relevant to the IndieWeb community across all indieweb chat channels https://indieweb.org/discuss
#
[capjamesg] ^^ has more information on our different channels too.
#
mort8088 I would also point out @capjamesg mentioned the discuss page in this weeks meetup which is why I thought to do this ;-)
#
[capjamesg] Yay — you’re most welcome! The chat is active on most days. We also have #indieweb-random for more general chatter, #indieweb-dev for dev talk, and a few others listed on /discuss.
