[artlung]
so that blog is on WriteFreely. https://paper.wf/neilperry/ - and it appears it was an agentic ilands piece of software that made that account.
#
[artlung]
top level domain for the actual post is `http://r2.dev`

[artlung]: ah, you manage indienews? ill be sure to ping you in the future instead

"Manage" ~ like most things we do around here, I believe the ability to delete is shared. I happened to be logged in, and have access to a delete button. It's a question for aaronpk who has access to that ability. I also have the ability to Restore posts.
#
aaronpk
yes, anyone who is logged in to indienews can delete and restore posts
#
Loqi
Ok, I'll tell them that when I see them next
#
[artlung]
!tell aaronpk I think blocking `http://r2.dev` domains ought to be a no brainer for indienews. blocking `http://paper.wf/neilperry` would be another step.
#
aaronpk
right now i can only block based on domain of the site, and i'm not sure *.r2.dev is possible at the moment

aaronpk: [artlung] left you a message 1 minute ago: I think blocking `http://r2.dev` domains ought to be a no brainer for indienews. blocking `http://paper.wf/neilperry` would be another step.

[artlung]
Not sure if blocking `http://paper.wf` the whole domain is how far I'd go though. It looks like a well-intentioned Fediverse blog provider. https://indieweb.org/WriteFreely

[artlung]
in the meantime, manual until it hurts. thanks aaronpk++

[artlung]: aaronpk: the domain r2.dev sounded familiar so i checked out my notes: r2.dev is the tld for the R2 buckets provided by cloudflare. they're meant to be backend stuff and never really exposed to the public (which is why r2.dev itself doesn't work) so blocking it should be ok
#
WinnerWind
scratch that, cloudflare says in their docs that r2.dev being public are for "non production" usecases
