!tell tantek: saw your post-type-discovery algorithm draft https://www.w3.org/TR/2016/WD-post-type-discovery-20161028/#algorithm . Any particular reason for the ordering of types as "rsvp > reply > repost > like" ? I understand "reply" getting precedence but don't understand the "rsvp > reply" and the ordering after "reply"

Ok, I'll tell them that when I see them next

pfefferle, did you ever figure out an alternative to using a filter for a handler?

GWG I have rewritten the code a bit and I tested it yesterday without significant issues... perhaps you can also have a look before I merge... https://github.com/pfefferle/wordpress-webmention/tree/pr/100

nice reminder how even "simple, standardized" things can be minefields... http://seriot.ch/parsing_json.html (and json is a lot better than most alternatives)

does anyone have any suggestion for a *small* download that enables me to debug a java program? Only ever used IDEs for that, and I'm stuck on really crappy hotel WIFI

nevermind, increasing the stack size fixed it...
#
bear
my suggestion for dealing with that is to spin up an instance someplace - that way the only traffic over hotel wifi is your ssh link
#
sknebel
... good point. been doing that all day, but didn't think of it now
