[fluffy] I ran into a lot of trouble with that in the OpenID 1.x days, when I used an OpenID signin to a forum and it saw my URL as http://beesbuzz.biz/fluffy and at one point that was getting normalized to https://beesbuzz.biz/fluffy/ and I couldn’t log in anymore.
