[snarfed] my last guess is that [techlifeweb]'s host is blocking google cloud's IPs and returning a weird wrong HTTP status code (406). reproducible in https://shell-py3.appspot.com/ with `import requests; requests.get('https://techlifeweb.com/').status_code`
