beko Frankly I see no usecase here. If I discover a blog during my own research that features Webmentions: Nice, I'm happy. Otherwise I don't care that my own Webmention to it will vanish in the server log. If I find myself interacting with a blog more often I ask it's author to add Webmentions. This works amazingly often.
