aaronpk i'm pretty sure the vast majority of rss feeds set some arbitrary limit and just let older things fall off, assuming readers are only interested in the latest ones. the major exception to that is podcast rss feeds which do usually contain the full list of podcast episodes, because apple treats the rss feed as the canonical list of full episodes
