I think there was a service that let you send anonymous webmentions. Can anyone remember the name of it?

capjamesg: sknebel left you a message 1 day, 14 hours ago: did it print?

I'm going to be testing my webmention scheduler and would love to use a service like this since I've not got a webmention template on my blog yet.
#
capjamesg
Found it. commentpara.de

next level: dotmatrix printer with roll paper that prints the whole contents of the webmention
#
sknebel
That was the whole (text-)content ;)
#
capjamesg
The printer has a lot of trouble with images. The start of the image is okay and then plain text gibberish is posted.
#
capjamesg
So I'll probably never have image support.
#
capjamesg
What else should the paper show for the webmention petermolnar?
#
capjamesg
I support likes, replies, bookmarks, etc. using the wm-property webmention.io object.
#
sknebel
wonders if that printer has escape codes for commands if they survive through the chain
#
capjamesg
Can you elaborate?
#
sknebel
Some printers take characters with "weird" values as commands to configure something about the printer
#
sknebel
E.g. the typewriter I have lets you change line height/beep/move freely over the serial with the right control bytes
#
sknebel
In principle, if those are not escaped, you could get them through WM maybe

Ah. Yes.
#
capjamesg
That's a bit annoying.
#
capjamesg
!tell tantek I just printed off your face and it worked.
#
Loqi
Ok, I'll tell them that when I see them next
#
capjamesg
I think the issue might be with large images since every large image I try to print results in gibberish.

Oh awesome, that's an excellent course if anyone was interested in Eleventy. I picked it up a while back, but really good to see it's being made free
