# [Sam_Butler] I've been practicing a somewhat different approach when it comes to building, guided by Hintjens' "simplicity-oriented design" (http://hintjens.com/blog:19) and some influences from Jobs-to-be-Done theory as well as Ryan Singer's "Shape Up (https://basecamp.com/shapeup/). The core assumption, is that we don't always know what we're building or have an appropriate grasp of the problem until we're in the process of working on it.
