[Sam_Butler] end up looking more like threads and comments in a technical sense, if it's all assumed to be public. For example, I can start a "chat" with [snarfed] on a topic. It can feel just like a two-person chat to us — except it's public, so others can see, and even potentially join. If that's how it's done, then the "chat" on that could be a thread, and all of the messages could be comments in the thread, and there could be a
