#[manton]Hello everyone! I’ve been moving forward with building a new API that will help ease away from relying on Foursquare. Working on it with Jon Hays (jonhays.me, [cheesemaker]). Still early days but I think it’s promising.
#Loqi[person] @m2m I saw your post about using Telegraph to send webmentions. Have you also used it to send pingbacks successfully? I tried earlier today and got successes for all the webmentions, but errors for all the pingbacks I tried to send.
#IWDiscordGateway<person> @aaronpk if you have time, would appreciate your insights here
#IWDiscordGateway<person> I'll try to pull a screenshot but it doesn't give me an http status code or any error message, it just says "error"

#Loqimanton has 20 karma in this channel over the last year (22 in all channels)

#sknebel"Non-profit organizations (Proof of non-profit status required)" huh

#[manton]Interesting, I had never seen that requirement! Hope that doesn’t cause a problem later.
#[manton]I think this project does roughly comply with those guidelines, but not the “name selection policy”. Just a fun domain name.
#[manton]I’ve never heard of a domain name being “audited” and revoked before, so we’ll see.
#sknebelvarious TLDs have requirements to qualify (usually geographically though)
#[manton]I remember when I registered manton.org (1996!), the network administrator who helped me register it said it might not be approved because it wasn’t a real “organization”. This sounds kind of similar.
#[manton]Maybe to comply I’ll have to come up with a real non-profit with the acronym LATL so that latl.ong still works. 🙂
