[tantek]Solid pods/JSON-LD interop claims are just as empty as the hype around "just use XML!" in the early 2000s which of course resulted in *zero* practical interop on the web, with the exception of when people made actual *format* specs (at a higher level than "just XML") like RSS & Atom.
