[snarfed] more on topic, we don't really have a design for indieweb chat, and personally I'm not sure it's a high priority for the community to work on. I don't know how natural a use case it is to chat to/from our web sites. but we'd definitely need to design that first if we eventually want to bridge fediverse DMs to indieweb. https://indieweb.org/chat#How is where we'd start!
