trwnh whatever it's called though, there probably should be an effort to make it easier to have your information not necessarily bound to specific domains or services. i think the idea of having everyone lease their own domain name is a powerful one but it's also got a lot of barriers to widespread adoption (cost, know-how, upkeep). not like there's anything better yet though...
