capjamesg[d] h-feed lets me keep everything in one place (my home page!), then Granary does all the hard work of RSS for me.

[tantek] hey capjamesg[d] that reminds me, given the challenges you had with your reader and the Cloudflare hosted RSS feed, is your reader able to see/retrieve my Atom feed (updates.atom) ? I recently switched my website to go through Cloudflare (though it's an interesting configuration)
