[Jo]okay so. maybe this is silly but ive been wondering for a while why the :visited doesnt work when i try to do it but some pages such as wikipedia are allowed to do it. like ive read online browsers dont allow it for privacy reasons but obviously there must be a way because MediaWiki makes it work just fine
Zegnat[Jo]: what are you trying to do? My understanding is that you can’t do certain things with visited (especially cross-domain) that can be detected, but just changing link colour and things should still work
[schmarty]pfych: hello! thanks for reporting the issue! the webring uses https://github.com/indieweb/representative-h-card-php to resolve the _representative_ h-card for the page. looking at the mf2 properties from your page i don't see either `url` or `uid`, so the parser sees an h-card, but doesn't see any indication that it's _the h-card_ for this page.
[artlung]I can’t definitively prove it was the culprit but I’ve been playing with the CSS code from that landscape illustration [marksuth] shared in CodePen (it’s in the FrESH to study list right now) and playing with my own copy and I crashed Safari so hard that my whole machine locked up.
