btremOnce nice thing about <textarea> is if `user-select: all` doesn't work, a user can click inside it once, then choose select all (`ctrl-a` on Ubuntu) and it selects the contents of the <textarea>, and not the whole page. Inside a <pre>, `ctrl-a` selects the entire page, so pretty useless.
