It's also annoying when I inadvertently copies a link containing query strings and shared it with others. When I see it, I usually strip it off

I'm proud of my little project - created a micropub server that posts all content as json documents into a git repo. Then that content repo triggers my website repo (thru dispatch) to sync it as a submodule, which then triggers the CI to rebuild and publish. Might be overengineered, but it scratches that itch for me in just the right way

overengineered or not, what matters is that you had fun while working on it. Can relate with that feeling simpleauthority++

Do you know of any h-card that uses `p-gender-identity`? I've only found uses of the unofficial(?) `p-pronoun`.

I decided to have a digital assistant write a plugin for my site for me, to see how that worked from start to finish without me doing anything but prompting. Rather frustrating

ok, I added "a header to add to ignore utm cruft for cache purposes https://csswizardry.com/2026/05/better-browser-caching-with-no-vary-search/" to the "See Also" section of /utm https://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=110760&oldid=110751

Oh wow, that looks cool!

[capjamesg]
Firefox doesn’t support it yet though 😭
#
[capjamesg]
Or Safari.
#
[tantek]
Firefox has a "Copy without cruft" (approximate name" menu option for copying links without the UTM crap
#
[capjamesg]
“Copy Clean Link”?
#
[capjamesg]
NB: The header in the post Kevin linked to is specifically for site back-ends to improve their caches by not creating duplicate keys for requests that only vary by marketing UTMs.
