it’s extremely satisfying to see that AI is eating garbage https://i.postimg.cc/xCG5XM7y/IMG-7430.jpg

chr0m4: what software is that?
#
WinnerWind
the thing that made the dashboard. looks cool
#
WinnerWind
just learnt what a pseudo element is and ive been going absolutely insane putting pseudoelements in everything in my CSS for fun styling stuff
#
WinnerWind
today i made the callouts do this fun hover effect when you hover over it
#
WinnerWind
slight annoyance about callouts is that the markdown > html library im using styles callouts WITH a collapsible component as a summary with class "<TYPE>" but WITHOUT a collapsible component as a div with the class admonition <TYPE>
#
WinnerWind
very annoying to have to do double the work....
#
WinnerWind
lots of boilerplate later and now i can add my own custom types by just changing 4 lines of code https://x0.at/dHHe.png
#
[tantek]
WinnerWind that sounds like a good short dev post about a daily learning! You should blog that on your site.
#
WinnerWind
[tantek]: i should! but ironically im writing the thing that will become the blog xD
#
WinnerWind
ill draft it elsewhere then publish it on the new blog when its done

chr0m4: nice! i use navidrome myself and i really like it. the subsonic API is a bit of a mess to work with though, and having a good FOSS Mobile client was such a challenge that i ended up paying for Symfonium. Might make my own client

WinnerWind: it depends on which OS are you using, but on iOS there’s substreamer for free and with 0 data collection and it works fairly good

!tell [snarfed] is there a way to block/delete replies on Bridgy Fed federated bluesky posts? E.g. my most recent post got a charity spam bot reply and I'd like to delete/block it. https://bsky.app/profile/tantek.com.web.brid.gy/post/3mpbt5a25agj2
#
Loqi
Ok, I'll tell them that when I see them next

jeremycherfas: I will have a look, I only don't like 1 thing from substreamer. And it's that my radio streams are missing.

[tantek] you can't directly delete other people's replies on Bluesky, no. you can block the account itself in your settings if you log in with IndieAuth

or if we figure out mf2 https://indieweb.org/block or https://docs.bsky.app/docs/tutorials/thread-gates (reply controls), I'd accept feature requests to bridge those!
