ttybitnik I agree. I do something similar using the Trakt API. It is pretty convenient for keeping track of watches. Also, from time to time, I download and back up my 'external' data. The only external service data I haven't managed to back up yet is LastFM --- which is a bit sad since I have ~15 years of data there.
