How does Loqi's preview work? See the latest message in #indieweb. The article has a `description` tag, but Loqi grabs the author bio instead (which is the first `p` tag in that article, though). I also don't know what that `[preview] Credits` could mean

Yesterday I went to make a tweak to my link checker in python that I run against my link list and have for eight years, but in the last 18 months since I moved to new beautifulsoup package it has been less and less effective. Taking a lesson from what I learned from my host and now have heard from a handful of engineers I updated the user agent on it to a more current Safari / webkit and of the 200 to 250 false positive broken

links I was down to 50 or so (I had no idea I had 943 links on my links page).

But, the rather simple link checker was missing things and it went from simple to one that tracked captured the client responses that weren’t 200 and categorized them. Then worked through the collections of around 440 non-200 responses as well as redirects. I went from 943 links to 919 and have clean-up and some manual checks on around 100 links.

<lesleylai> That URL has microformats1 and "Credits" is the first text in the `.entry-content`, albeit in an element with `display: none`. Here's a parse of the page: https://xray.p3k.io/parse?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.noemamag.com%2Fthe-last-days-of-social-media%2F&pretty=true

A lot of WordPress themes still have microformats1 in them

They're not always implemented accurately, though. This one is missing an `.entry-title` property. If that had been included, then the preview would only show the title of the article.
