sure, a calendar "presentation" can be used for lots of things. doesn't mean it fits a common understanding of a "calendar" which typically implies an events focus.
#
[tantek]
I believe there are enough people with actual calendars on their personal websites that we could list those on a page
#
aaronpk
i am definitely curious to see these examples then
#
[tantek]
I think gRegor said he had one
#
[tantek]
Most of them are for displaying upcoming events, sometimes using an embed
#
gRegor
Doesn't visually look much like a calendar, but yes https://gregorlove.com/calendar/
#
gRegor
My main use case is converting to ICS and subscribing in Google Calendar, so it shows all events starting from a year prior
#
gRegor
I could probably merge it into my events page, which currently shows either upcoming or past events: https://gregorlove.com/events/
#
[tantek]
Yup great example. Also makes the point that a calendar is more about the semantics than a tabular presentation
#
gRegor
I also want to mix in my RSVPs somehow
#
aaronpk
Oh, I also have a page that lists events I am going to , I just don't think of it as a calendar
#

And my flights, which I also subscribe to in my calendar app on my phone

[capjamesg] [social] I tagged you both on the wiki page for the IWCSD in the section brainstorming about personal library cards:
#
[Al_Abut]
I did a quick snapshot of the current state of my personal roadmap around books, since it’s inspired by pieces of your workflows and also things talked about (and done?) by [chrisaldrich] and [tantek]. Hope you’ll both be able to join virtually!

I realize now that it might’ve been more appropriate for the etherpad that Chris opened but I didn’t want to spoil the draft of his own braindump

pcarrier and [jeremycherfas] when you are up and about Friday please message this channel to get the event started tomorrow! I can't quite commit to being up in the morning for EU time but I'll be getting up early for me. :)
