[aciccarello] [morgan] I just finished reading a great article from Tracy Durnell. I wonder if there would be enough interest for a Seattle IndieWebCamp this year.
#
[morgan] Oh neat ! I would support that/ attend that. I actually got a bunch of positive responses to my idea which I floated as a potential idea in Bellingham, but I think a Seattle event could be a lot more attended or better supported
#
gRegor I think it was a year or so ago, the idea was floated for Seattle being the next IndieWeb Summit. Whether camp or summit, feel free to add yourself to https://indieweb.org/Planning#Seattle !
#
[morgan] Just to mention my previous outreach re a potential bellingham event, I gave a chunky 2 paragraphs in a text describing the types of goals of what might happen at the event, and that I was just testing the water for a potential event, maybe a month ago. I think I sent it to like 15 people, I got approx 12 responses and 7 said they were potentially interested and that with enough notice they could make it work.

Loqi LinuxFest Northwest (LFNW) is an annual Spring FLOSS conference in Bellingham, WA https://indieweb.org/LinuxFest
#
[morgan] I am a volunteer for LFNW, helped out a little (very little) with their website
#
[morgan] I spoke at lfnw in 2025 also 😄 !

gRegor For those wiki signatures btw, you can set up a template with your nickname so you can sign `
{{morgan}}` and it shows up. Tutorial: https://indieweb.org/Tutorial-set-up-your-personal-wiki-template Note we recommend using a chat nickname instead of the domain#
[morgan] I set mine up initially for now, and re-added it to the list
