gRegor nick autocomplete probably adds it, so if you hit backspace before typing the plus plus should work

[tantek] gRegor, sorta. the space before the ++ is OK if karma-subject is the *first* thing in the line. The space before ++ only fails when the karma-subject is the last thing in the line. And yes, Slack alias autocomplete adds it, and if you try to delete that space, when you type the ++ Slack adds it back!
