[morgan] The Zine Pop-up thats upcoming will be focused on engaged discussion and I am so excited, but basically Im working on a collection of share-able zines to prepare for a big share into the etherpad at the event, so everyone has something to grab at if it interests them to take away. I encourage others to accumulate zines, check their license status, and consider having them ready for sharing at the event. Every zinefest Ive gone
#
[morgan] to I walk away with a grab bag of stuff and its part of the fun

#
[artlung] No, I didn't take it as pressure! Just have been still more onboarding and learning so much I didn't feel settled to take a chunk of time. But I'm at a good point now, so there it is. 🙂 Thanks [Jo]

[morgan] An extra note for the zine pop-up, I encourage people to have URLs ready to share to their own websites where people can find zines. I had thought for a second of putting them in a drive or something but [capjamesg] ++ was right to point out we should be hosting them on our own sites in the good spirits of independence. Just remember to check the license, and there are options about how to find them or display them discussed on
#
[morgan] wiki pages and more 💪

[tantek] curious if [chrisaldrich] has some zines on his website, feels like the sort of mixed physical/web media thing he'd be into
#
[Sophia_wood] my zines are scattered
