Gold Morning all. I was just looking over the repo and noted the externals directory. Is there any reason this is checked in to the repo rather than maintained via composer?

Gold If this has been discussed before linkage to that would be awesome.

cmal note: Swiftmailer is years old in the externals dir, but I tried updating to the latest version and it didn't seem to break anything in Known emailing capabilities
