dosch[m]hey all, amidst the Facebook drama, I thought to use known to create a fast alternative for a FB group. But my only concern is the active development of the software. What is the current status of the software, is it being maintained, is there a roadmap?
mapkycaThe red failing on test is currently down to something wrong with the travis build machine and mongo support. I've not had time to really get into it
mapkycajeremycherfas: it always was a plugin :) ... but I'm toying with the idea of taking it out of core to make it easier for it to be maintained. No firm decisions either way, but keeping it as is for now
dosch[m]now the hardest part comes: how to convince 1000+ FB group members it is time to pack up and leave.... Is there a way to migrate content from a FB group to a known site?

[jgmac1106]@dosch[m] I tried to do the same for our family diaspora page on facebook. Set up a Known instant. Four people joined, three posted. Went silent a day later. I am sure FB group still very active

dosch[m][jgmac1106]: migrating the existing content might sooth some of the pain... There is stuff that can do it, but seems expensive and not sure if, after downloading, you can upload to known
@cleverdevil↩️ Not really planning anything yet. Just tinkering around 😀
My goal is ultimately to have a dynamic website, with no servers to manage. Not just a static site. (twitter.com/_/status/984144186017566721)
