hello?

Hello tin1 What’s up?
#
tin1
Hi, I'm having a hard time deploying Known to my nginx
#
jeremycherfas
Sorry about that. I’m Apache myself. Help may be along. You could also try asking in #indieweb-dev

What's the issue @tin1?
#
tin1
it says Rewriting appears to be disabled. Usually this means "AllowOverride None" is set in apache2.conf which prevents Known's .htaccess from doing its thing. We tried to fetch a URL that should redirect to default.js You can usually fix this by setting AllowOverride All in your Apache configuration.

for what I'm researching, it detects de rewrite feature enabled by curl-ing subdir/js/canary.js
#
tin1
(btw i'm trying to install known to a subdir) - when manually try that file it says HTTP ERR too many redirects
#
[cleverdevil]
Hmm... its been a while since I did nginx configuration.
#
tin1
anyway I'm debugging warmup/WebInstaller.php and $subdir seems empty
#
tin1
(nevermind that $subdir is fine... my bad)
#
tin1
well after some code tweaks it installed and I created the account, now the JS files wont load
#
tin1
it seems to work! i'll push my nginx adptation of the .htacess to the github repo
