↩️ Working on tutorial now for Known, adding subdomain, installing @letsencrypt on how to install 0.9.3 @withknown using installatron, set up your FTP account with File Zilla, download the latest build, and then push up to @ReclaimHosting (https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/HOrub)

Does anyone know where the data gets saved when you add "custom css" in the plugin? I updated to the latest build and restored all my old stylesheets and themes but can't get back to where we were.

ohh and we should make a plugin to allow for universal color scheme changes and font choices that can override themes and default CSS...it is way too hard for people to switch fonts and colors

I just added a five part video tutorial series on how to add @withknown with @reclaimhosting to the @internetarchive If you want to get started on the most feature rich #IndieWeb CMS I highly recommend Known https://archive.org/details/knownandreclaim (https://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/s/1PTgIK)

jgmac1106 I was thinking about re-writing the base CSS for Known. There is a few places where fonts are specified and it’s hard to overwrite. I feel none of that should be in the core and all in themes.
#
[jgmac1106]
yeah it was drive me crazy figured it was time to learn to write a theme..but you shouldn't have to change the hexcolor of your navbar
#
[jgmac1106]
other problem is the mini css. I have never liked those IMO the amount of load time savings is miniscule and I'd rather one readable file
#
[jgmac1106]
but then again Known was built for deploying across universities so minscule load times at scale could matter I guess

[davidmead] happy to help but I don't know how to make the plumbing work...only thing I could do would be layout how I would like it to look in CSS Grid, templating is so heavy when really only thing changing are a couple of fonts and colors

many people who use WordPress are too attached to the themes and customization to either switch themes or some plugins may conflict with #IndieWeb stuff. You could save WordPress for your long form and move social stream to @withknown or @microdotbloghttps://quickthoughts.jgregorymcverry.com/2019/02/10/many-people-who-use-wordpress-are-too

[davidmead] [cleverdevil] the latest built broke the watching plugin and the GitHub plugin...I think it might be different versions of fontawesome floating around
#
[jgmac1106]
scratch that on GitHub support some of @mapkyca's plugins have an extra directory
